IMO STATE GOVERNOR ROCHAS OKOROCHAINVOLVED IN CAR ACCIDENT

Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo was on Friday in Owerri involved in an auto accident.
Okorocha told newsmen that he was going to inspect projects in the state
when a Mercedes Saloon car ran into his motorcade. The governor, who wore a bandage on his forehead, said he was in a stable condition after receiving treatment.
Dr Sylvester Igwe, Personal Physician to Okorocha, said the governor had a minor injury on the forehead, adding that he needed a medical examination to determine the full extent of the injury.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Musa Katsina, said the police Accident Investigation Team had begun investigation into the cause of the accident.

  1. Motor vehicle accidents have become common these days because a lot of vehicles on the road. Careless driving is causing such accidents. Drivers are also not following traffic rules. Safe driving can avoid accidents.
