OSUN GOVT: OYINLOLA'S ERA WAS A WASTE

Osun State Government has described the seven and half years of Peoples Democratic Party reign in the State as a disaster saying nothing tangible was done to give the People of the State dividends of democracy. The State commissioner for information and strategy, Mr Sunday Akere stated this while reacting to a statement allegedly credited to the PDP chairman in the State, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, that the party would chase Governor Rauf Aregbesola from office come 2014 over his wasteful government resources to frivolous projects. Akere said OlaoluwaLs sataement was a mrer dream which could not come to pass. He noted that Aregbesola was fully committed to the development of the state, adding that the State government had turned the state into a construction site. The commissioner conteneded that PDP had met its natural death in the state, maintaing that the party cannot win 20 votes come 2014 governorship election, Akere, who disclosed that the state government had committed about 688 kilometres of road were under consttruction.
He, however charged the people of the state to vote wisely come 2014 so that they will not fall in to the hands of looters
